    Default moving electrical box

    Hi,
The electrical box/meter is located where I want to put in my new french sliders. I would like to relocated the box to my side yard or the basement. What are some caveats...

It will require some rewiring as the wiring now terminates at the panel. This may involve installing multiple junction boxes that are accessible and extending the wiring. It may also require installing new main service line and ground electrode wire..
