we have a heating pipe that has the fins missing.its a hydronic system and essentially we have no heat in our new condo. the previous owner went beserk and took all the fins out. now i can get someone to put a slant fin thingy in there but its too cold to town the boiler and drain. SO im looking to replace the missing fins for now. ANY ideas. i was told by an experienced plumber that fins could be bought from hardware stores to "snap on". but after googling this and asking the oldest hardware stores in boston. im loosing hope. help me im freezing .
