    Default painting 2 rooms

I am painting two rooms that are divided by wall with a large opening. There is no trim to divided the room so i cant just use the white that was used else where. Should I paint the inside of the wall the same color as the first room or should it be the color of the second room? Thanks

Paint the inside wall of the opening the same color as the larger room, that's the more popular choice. Otherwise, I think it's better to trim the dividing wall interior section in something completely different from the walls; perhaps a wood that matches another wood in a nearby room.
If I only knew what I was doing!
