Default Temporary Enclosure for a dishwasher

So we have a somewhat old kitchen that we plan on updating in the year or so. However, the kitchen does not have a dishwasher, but does have a perfect spot for it near a sink where the fridge currently sits. Would love to get a new dishwaser "intstall" it into a temporary enclosure of some sorts (think like a butcher block type of a top & something to hide on the outside, but really can't think of anything...One side will be covered by a cabinet where there is currently a sink, another side & the top is the question - how can we enclose it temporary for the next year while we pick out our new kitchen?

IKEA now has a free-standing dishwasher cabinet available for $169.
