Question help with old wood odor!

my husband's father died last year. so last week, he went back home and took some of the stuff from his father's house. his father's house is really mildewy, moldy, moist, and has that distinct odor in it. i've managed to get rid of most of the smell on most of the items, but the smell is persistent in 2 very-old, wood dressers. how do i get rid of the smell in the dressers? thanks!

Vacuum all interior surfaces. Wipe down with a rag and diluted bleach. When dry, brush or spray all interior wood with shellac. The cleaning with bleach will kill the mold, but shellac seals all odors.

Remove not the ancient landmark, which your fathers have set.
