    Default Painting fiberglass column bases

The paint on my out door fiberglass pillars keeps pealing.
Last summer I tried scraping them down, wire brushing them (to scuff up - which did not work) and repainting with Zinsser Bull's Eye - they are pealing again. Any ideas on what paint to use and how to make the paint stick to the fiberglass?

    MK,

What have you been using for finsih coat paint? Normal acrylic house paint should stick directly to fiberglas. As often as I praise BIN here, it is not the greatest primer for exterior surfaces, save a few special instances such as sealing knots. Acrylic paints have the ability to bond and expand and contract with the fiberglas in the heat of the day.
