    Default Leaky AC Unit

I have an AC unit with an outside heat exchanger and an inside wall mount unit for my den. Today while running the unit, condensate was coming out of a seam in the wall unit as well as the condensate tube. What is causing this and what can I do? Thanks. -Scott D.

If your talking about a Ductless Split it could be that the condensate line is kinked enough to drain a little but not enough. We run 3/4 PVC from the inside unit to the outside. Cut the neoprene condensate line and leave about 6" to insert into the PVc and there should be no more kinking. Just make sure it's pitched to drain correctly.
