    Default Crushed Limestone Equivalent

We are installing an above ground pool with Gibraltar buttresses. The directions call for crushed limestone in the trenches, and no one in Arizona carries crushed limestone. Does anyone know of an equivalent that we could use instead? Thank you in advance.

Crushed sandstone will work just the same as crushed limestone. It is not real common but most sandstone quarries will have it available as a byproduct of sandstone quarrying. Most trucking companies will take care of finding a quarry that sells it and loads it.

Hi 3/4" pea gravel or road base gravel. The idea is to have a good supporting base.

Thank you both for your answers. We have found a great base product here in Arizona that is working wonderfully. Our pool is getting closer to completion now. Thanks again.
