Re: Forced air furnace burner short cycling

Installed 1.0x60 nozzle + new t-stat. Bingo, problem fixed! Also, heard from Olsen. They said I can go down to a .85x80 nozzle if I need to and change speeds at fan center (not on motor). I...

Re: Forced air furnace burner short cycling

Just did some calculations about my ducts. My old system had about 374 square inches of heat duct and 384 square inches of return air. The new system has 226 square inches of heat and 112square...

Re: Forced air furnace burner short cycling

If I'm reading all this correctly (and my head's swimming pretty good), it sounds like the thoughts are that I have an oversize furnace and undersize ducting.
Haven't heard from Olsen yet about...

Crawled into the blower compartment and found the motor tag (pretty well hidden) Model 10-DD. ...

Re: Forced air furnace burner short cycling

The manual shows a 4 speed blower motor and talks about changing the speed. I just can't see how to do it since the wiring diagram doesn't look like the actual blower wiring. Also not sure what...

***! Thanks to all who've responded so far.

I'll try everything suggested so far, one by one, and hopefully something will work. My serviceman keeps saying it's the limit switch settings, but...
