    Re: Community Joke Thread

Didn't cross my mind this was bloating post count, but I understand what you mean. I don't suppose there is any way to ignore this particular thread as far a post count go, is there? Probably not.

    Re: Community Joke Thread

Sorry. Didn't realize it was wrong to post that way. Are you asking for all jokes to be in one post and a new thread for later jokes?

Re: Metal Shed Concerns (and an idea)

Well, the wife and I have discussed the options on a shed. We looked at it from all angles and have come up with a solution that removes all the questions I had about the type, style and size.

Re: Metal Shed Concerns (and an idea)

The trough idea is good. I'm still concerned about moisture buildup on the walls betwixt the two buildings, though.

The stick shed idea was kind of an option that I was thinking of, but y'alls...

Re: Metal Shed Concerns (and an idea)

I did consider tying it to the existing roof, but decided not to tie them together.

I jacked the shed this past Summer and reset the blocks.

The pad is 4" thick and sits 5" from the shed....

Re: Metal Shed Concerns (and an idea)

Yeah, sweating is something to consider. A buddy has a small vinyl shed and doesn't like it or use it because it sweats a lot, so he doesn't bother to keep it looking good (dirt and mildew). I...

The cops raided my neighbor's house and seized three lawn mowers and a couple of weed eaters. He's been charged with having weapons of grass reduction.

Re: Metal Shed Concerns (and an idea)

I didn't think about chain link or something like that to get through for a spell. That's worth consideration.

I've not yet sketched it out or figured lumber for the lean-to idea yet; I was...

Re: Metal Shed Concerns (and an idea)

Thanks for the thought. Yes, I've thought about an extention, but it still leaves me with the rain runoff and moisture worries.

Our neighbor's dog pooped in our yard, and my wife told me to get a shovel and throw it over the fence. I did. Now we have dog poop in the yard and the neighbor has our shovel.

Metal Shed Concerns (and an idea)

Greetings, all. I've been pondering on a metal shed as additional storage for a riding mower and things like that, but have almost talked myself into building a modified lean-to that I can still put...

    Re: Heat/AC Setting: Your Opinion

Oddly enough, sometimes I feel colder when the temp is in the 30's or 40's than I do when it's in the 20's or teens.
