    Sanding won't help. I'd recommend replacing the boards choosing from deck stain that seals the surface better.

    If it is new dishwasher its better to call the right person for it they would generally help you fix up the problem and replace the dishwasher if the defect is found from the product.

    Storm System makes a line of deck stains that hold up. I'd recommend considering a primer combined with a category 4 stain for the longest lasting finish.
