Re: Help with hot water circulation motor

    OP here,

Yes, it's an old furnace - circa 1960's. It's been serviced well through the years and I do oil the motor - in fact, probably over oil it - have rags on the floor to catch the drips.

Help with hot water circulation motor

We have hot water baseboard heat. Over the past few months, a vibration developed and transfers noise through the pipes and therefore through the whole house. It only happens when the water is...

Over the past few years I've bought a dozen or so of these things. As of now, I have one (1) that still works(sorta).

The batteries aren't the problem and I don't think it's the bulbs. In every...

    Kitchen faucet w/pull-out sprayer woes

I recently remodeled the kitchen and included a not-cheap fancy name-brand single lever faucet with the popular pull out spray feature. It was a bear to install but that's not my problem.

    We now...

    Re: Dead patch of grass

Original poster here - with a follow up on your great suggestions.

My dead spot is now repaired.

I was unable (or unwilling) to use plugs from another area - I neglected to mention that my...

    Dead patch of grass

Pulled a boner over the winter. Made a batch of home made ice cream and without thinking dumped 2-3 gallons of leftover salty ice water in the yard. Now I have a 20-30 square foot dead area in my...
