Re: Making an economical path to the barn

Get a bobcat, clear out a foot of top soil, lay down driveway cloth, and fill with 2 to 3 inch stone. About $50 an hour on the cat and a load or two of stone should all get you near $700 ish.

yes - lots of great youtube videos on this. Drainage, a good liner, waterfall foam and nice rocks will do the trick.

Had that same problem years ago, then started using a much higher quality cloth, and started using stone rather than multch.

Re: Clay Dam for sewer line

If you are going to use sodium bentonite for this be sure to mix it in with some local dirt, as it can expand 18 times its size when wet.

    Re: Dog Vs. Yard

I'd consider hard-scaping that are with small stones.....great dranage, easy to spray down....
  11. Re: Would you repaint or attempt to strip paint from old concrete exterior stairs?

Consider a couple coats of Ready mix concrete patch to go over top once you get the lose paint off..
