  2. Re: Painting over bookcases that were victims of a staining disaster

    Did you shake the can?

You know you have to keep stirring that crap like every 2-3 min. I have had better results keeping it in motion. Slow even stirs, dont rush it. I have had great results...

    Re: Frozen SC-6 spray tips

This is true to a point, color and product play a major role also. I have sprayed thousands of gallons of oil and latex over the years. When I painted for the state, I got so good at spraying that...

    Re: Frozen SC-6 spray tips

You say doubtful but not impossible. I ask because the same someone who moved my tips outside, expects me to use them on finishes that will be guarenteed. I feel as you do where as water can expand...

    Jim,
I'm new here and have gotten some pretty sound advice. Not sure why no responses :(

My thoughts at first were I like the idea but it would make the room feel slightly smaller to me. After...

    Re: Painting laminated countertops?

I wouldn't paint laminate counter tops personally. I'de find other solutions. A quick note about Xylene. Not only is it smelly, it requires good ventilation. You will feel light headed or high...
