    I think we have decided to do that, its good advice and just to "iffy" for us to take the risk for potential problems to arise next winter, after the floors are in and then big potential disaster....

    That is our concern also, that with disconnecting and lifting these 400lb+ radiators (they are huge) 3/4" and then reconnecting will be an issue. They are threaded connections as you said, and...
