    Plaster Walls

    I just plastered my walls with joint compound. The inside corner's plaster is cracked (seems from drying out). Does this matter or would the primer cover the cracks?

    I am assuming that crown moldings and baseboards can be used as normal without short circuiting the resiliant channels.

    Is it true the drywall can not touch the floor or ceiling when using resilient channel? I also read you can not hang anything on the walls or knock in any nails?

    My concerns with Resilient Channels if someone bangs into the walls, would the wall move? Would the corners come apart? Will paint break?
