Refinishing an old end table that has an inlay
I am trying to refinish an old end table that has an inlay in it. I have taken that part out and want to place foreign money there and then seal it. What would you recommend using to fill the space so that the coins can be seen and the finish be durable?
Re: Refinishing an old end table that has an inlay
There is a two part resin that is available from any woodworking supplier made for just this type of thing. You'll typically see this type of finish on wood burl clocks, tables, etc. I've used it to fill large holes in burl table tops, clocks etc. Can't give a brand name, sorry.
