we recentantly built a log home and have a problem with moisture any suggestions on eliminating excess moisture? We have in floor heat with no duct work and do not have a whole house air exchanger, and the home is in the woods; our humidity runs around 70%.
Regular use of exhaust fans ( kitchen , bathroom ) that vent outside will help if they run long enough ..... also a dehumidfier may help.
However .... if this doesn't reduce the humidity inside enough then another mechanical exhaust system like a HRV/ERV may be required.
If this is in a warm climate then A/C maybe required to dehumidfy the home.
Just a thought.:)
