Live on an estuary in a 80 year old house. Been using commercial abatement methods to no avail. Sure that the phermones are implanted in the ceiling. Any way to block off the interior walls when replacing the ceiling? The urine stench is unbearable!
Any advise would be appreciated.
Re: Rat Infestation
Rats are hard to stop. About the best you can hope for is to seal up the perimeter of every hole, nook, and cranny that you can find. I would also build "rat" houses away from the structure to try and coax them to nest elsewhere and bait these rat motels with Decon or other rat poisoned grain, just make sure that other animals can't get to it. Another step would be to get yourself some outside cats to keep the little buggers at bay.
