ALUMINUM BALUSTERS and PRESSURE TREATED LUMBER
I've read the warning not to use aluminum in direct contact with ACQ treated lumber as the chemicals in the wood will cause the aluminum to corrode.
However, I would like to make deck railing balusters of aluminum conduit which would be inserted into holes drilled into the top and bottom rails.
 QUESTION 1: Will painting the aluminum with appliance paint outside and in (as far as the spray will reach when sprayed into the cut ends) prevent this corrosion?
 QUESTION 2: If #1 is not possible, is there another way to attach the balusters so that they are not in direct contact with the wood?
