Radiation vs Cracks
Seven years ago we had a radon removal system installed. Soon after, cracks began appearing in the basement floor. At this point there are many cracks and some have grown to 3/8" wide.
I believe the circulation of air under the concrete floor is drying the clay out and the floor is settling (assumed it has not settled prior to this because of the steady-state moisture that was there before.)
1) As time passes the cracks continue to grow. Should this concern me?
2) I think I should fill the cracks since the radon installers were careful to seal all the orifaces in the basement when they installed the air collection system and now there are PLENTY of orifices (cracks). How do I fill a potentially dynamic crack?
Looking for any input. (Whatsoever)
