we bought a 140 farmhouse,12'ceilings everywhere but, kit/dining, i have to do something hubby is 6'3,they are tongh/groove ceilings, unfinished attic above, can be used for ceiling. do i want to do this or deal with it? I am a diy kinda gal, but this might be "over my head" tee hee. thanks for any kind of help
Re: 7'kitchen ceiling
Trade hubby in on a shorter model ... ;):p
If the attic space is open above the kitchen ceiling, then it should be possible to raise the ceiling up, depending on how the ceiling/roof is framed. I'd consult with a framing contractor or an engineer for the best means of going about it.
