Re: Any options for remodel?
I had an unattractive, leaky shower stall that had been added to our 1929 home in the mid-80's. Like yours, we just weren't big fans of the stall, which was mashed in a tiny bathroom with a clawfoot tub. My husband and I demoed the stall, and in its place had a built-in added. The custom built-in was a bit of a splurge, but you could use old cabinetry from the ReStore or somewhere similar and just trim out around it. Our new bathroom is spacious and the added storage is incredible. I just bought a shower surround for the clawfoot, which takes the place of the shower stall. I hope that idea helps!
