ID style of 1916 home?
The house was built in 1916 in Hampton Roads, Virginia. At some point, it was converted into two units (upstairs and downstairs). I'm not sure how much of the exterior was changed to accommodate the two unit format, but the house to the left that you can barely see is identical. The building is brick like the one on the left but, sadly, has been painted white. Is the building any identifiable architectural style or is it a hodgepodge? I'm clueless about this sort of thing (1st home) but I'd like to renovate the interior in line with the architectural style if it can be determined. Any advice is appreciated--thanks!
