I finally found the cause of my dishwasher leaking, but can't seem to fix it. The machine is a Kitchenaid, model KUDJ230Y2, and uses an overflow device shaped like a cone in the left front of the dishwasher. It leaks down the stem. When the thing is running, it's supposed to raise up if too much water gets in, which would activate a switch that the rod is touching on the bottom. I've replaced the entire unit, but it still leaks. NO help from the Kitchenaid people, and I don't know what to do now. Any suggestions?
Re: Dishwasher leak
Check the end of the drain hose that connects to the dishwasher. If it's leaking, tighten the clamp with a screwdriver.
