  2. Hi Mr. Spruce,

Completed my molding installation. It came out quite well, thanks to your advice of sizing each corner first with pre-cut scrap pieces.
    Thaanks again for your help.

  3. Guy, it is best to keep questions in the open forum where you will receive a more diverse response from more members. I've posted my reply to this question in your original topic on accurate angles.
  4. Thank you Mr. Spruce for your reply to accurate angles. It appears that a protractor is what I need. The Starrett protractor/angle finder looks ideal but a little bit pricey. For such a small job I am wondering if I could possibly just line up my T-bevel on my combination saw. what do you think?
  5. im really so glad for your reply. sure thing i will follow each steps.thank you very much

  9. It is best to keep all technical questions posted on the forums so that you get a broader perspective.

Bondo used to offer a tub refinishing kit, found in the paint department of your local supplier. I do not recommend attempting to refinish the tub yourself because it will result in a less than professional finish, and likely be less durable than having it professionally done. Consult your phone book for "bathroom refinishing" and variants of that for local refinishing contractors. If cost is a concern, then ask the refinisher during your interview whether you doing some or all of the prep work will affect the cost. IMHO, the prep work is the hardest and most laborious part of the job, also IMHO, most refinishers don't go to the level of detail that you might when it comes to removing old caulk and cleaning of the surface.
  10. just curious about what to do to refinish a fiberglass tub surround, 450$ to 500$ but with what product or do I need a professional? and any concerns with refinishing in white when the existing tub is a yucky brown?? thanks! Janis
